About OMR
OMR is the International Exhibition and Conference on Shipbuilding and Equipment and Technologies for Development of the Arctic and Continental Shelf. Held in St. Petersburg, Russia, OMR brings together leading Russian companies engaged in continental-shelf development and major oil & gas projects, alongside government and science representatives, to discuss the most important aspects of Arctic development.
The Forum agenda covers global energy projects in the Arctic and on the shelf: exchange of high technologies, reducing environmental risks, competence development and strengthening partnership relations. OMR showcases current trends in offshore oil & gas infrastructure — shipping and shipbuilding, offshore oil & gas production, navigation and communications, industrial and environmental safety.
OMR is held by order of the Government of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry of Energy of Russia and the Russian Academy of Sciences. OMR 2026 is held in the framework of the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.
Dates & Edition
The OMR 2026 Conference takes place 6–9 October 2026 in St. Petersburg. (The OMR Exhibition has been moved to 2027, to be held at the ExpoForum Exhibition Center.)
