About China International Aromatic Industry Exhibition (CIAIE)
CIAIE - the China International Aromatic Industry Exhibition, known in China as the Aromatic Industry (Shanghai) Exhibition and marketed internationally as "Aroma Asia" - is the country's leading professional trade fair for the aromatic industry. It was founded in 2015 in Luoyang by Beijing Exhibition Co., Ltd. (Yihe Yongbang) and moved to Shanghai in 2019. The show is built around the full aromatic value chain, from growing and sourcing raw materials through extraction, formulation and finished fragrance, cosmetics and personal care products.

- Aromatic planting and agri-tourism: planting bases, aromatic themed property, seedlings, cultivation tooling, technical support and organic fertiliser
- Equipment and packaging: drying, sterilisation, distillation and storage equipment, packaging materials, testing and analysis instruments, supercritical and subcritical extraction plants
- Essential oils and hydrosols: single and compound essential oils, vegetable oils, Chinese medicinal oils, blending oils, concretes and absolute oils
- Natural flavours, fragrances and space fragrance: natural food and beverage flavours, natural perfumes and essences, large-scale and domestic diffusers, aroma design for interiors and hotels
- Pure plant-based personal care: plant-based perfumes, essential-oil soaps and accessories, personalised hand-made and DIY products
- Health management and aromatherapy: herbal teas, wellness and beauty institutions, health management organisations, aromatherapy schools, aromatherapists, research institutes and fragrance culture
2027년도
The next edition is scheduled for 26-28 August 2027 at the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing (CECIS), No. 2739 West Guangfu Road, Putuo District, Shanghai. The organiser's published schedule lists visitor opening hours of 9:00-17:30 on each of the three exhibition days. The preceding edition, the 12th, was held 16-18 October 2026 at the same venue, with roughly 15,000 square metres of exhibition space and more than 200 exhibiting companies.
