The Cheesman Park Art Fest is Denver's premier July art tradition, produced by Dash Events since its launch in 2013. The 14th annual edition takes place in Cheesman Park on Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25, 2027, open from 9am to 5pm on both days with free admission.
The festival is a juried event bringing together more than 150 artists and craftspeople from across the United States, selling hand-made, American-made work directly to the public. All booths are dedicated to showcasing handmade juried art and craft, with no commercial booths on site. The annual show has been named a Top 100 Show of the Decade by Sunshine Artist Magazine, a Top 14 New Show to Watch by Sunshine Magazine, and has ranked among the top shows in the United States for art and craft sales.
Alongside the juried art and craft, the festival offers live folk, jazz and cover band performances on the park's main stage across both weekend days, plus a wide selection of Denver food trucks and packaged gourmet treats.
Venue: Cheesman Park, 1599 East 8th Avenue, Denver, CO 80218. The festival takes place on the south side of the park, with entrances on 8th Avenue, 9th Avenue, and at 9th Avenue and Humboldt. Street parking is available along the north lane of 8th Avenue, and the RTD bus runs by the park. The event is ADA accessible, with all booths placed on the park's asphalt roads, and dogs are welcome on leash.
