The WATESOL Fall 2026 Conference is the annual professional meeting of Washington, D.C. Area TESOL (WATESOL), an affiliate of TESOL International Association. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday, 17 October 2026, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, at Trinity Washington University in Washington, D.C.

The conference theme is Advocacy & Adaptability: New Technology, Methods, and Challenges. Sessions include practice-oriented and research-oriented presentations, posters, technology tips, and workshops, as well as Special Interest Group meetings, roundtable discussions, and time to meet with exhibitors. The full schedule will be posted in early October.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Drew S. Fagan, Ed.D., Professor at the University of Maryland College Park. A light breakfast and lunch are included with registration. Early-bird registration is open through 1 October 2026; day-of registration is not guaranteed. Sponsor and exhibitor details are published on the WATESOL site.
