Cater+Event 2027
Cater+Event 2027 takes place March 22-25, 2027 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, 900 Convention Center Blvd, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. Organised by Informa Connect, Cater+Event is the premier event where caterers, event planners and suppliers unite for four days of education, hands-on learning, networking and celebration.
The 2027 programme combines expert-led conference sessions and hands-on workshops with a tradeshow floor where leading suppliers present products, services and event solutions, plus networking with caterers, planners, producers and supplier partners. New for 2027 are the Cater+Event Marketplace (featuring the Connect Live, Opening Night Celebration and Closing Night Celebration showcase companies), the Beverage Marketplace, the reimagined Design Gallery Competition, and the Diced Competition: Recipe Battle, where top chefs compete live with recipes from their own catering kitchens.
Celebrations include the Cater+Event Gala Awards, whose 2027 submissions are now open. Chef Emeril Lagasse joins as a keynote conversation on Wednesday, March 24 at 10:00 AM CT. A preview event, A Taste of Cater+Event, is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at Fulton Alley in New Orleans, giving attendees first access to 2027 show details.
